Maternity Wear Guide

I am sure every woman approaches maternity wear differently, but for me, I wanted to still dress decently cute and buy as few things as possible. I ended up investing in a few expensive basics as well as some more inexpensive basic shirts. Pretty much everything I bought ended up being black, white or gray. I made these outfits a little more exciting by pairing them with open button-ups, cardigans, and vests. As for shoes I very quickly couldn't wear heels or flats so I have survived for the past 9 months in Tods, Converse Chucks, Nike Free's and Tom's. From the list below my absolute must-haves were the Hatch leggings, Ingrid & Isabel yoga pants, and all of the comfy shirts from Target in pretty much every color they came in. I additionally purchased one nice dress from Envie de Fraise which came in handy for any and all events I had to attend throughout the pregnancy. My J Brand maternity jeans actually got worn the least of all of my maternity stuff. Unless you think you will wear them or live in a much colder climate than I do I would stick with black leggings throughout the pregnancy.
